Our best-selling Greenland paddle — handcrafted one at a time.

Our two-piece Greenland paddles combine the traditional feel and efficiency of a Greenland paddle with the convenience of a take-apart design for travel, transport and storage.

Each paddle is individually handcrafted and laminated primarily from carefully selected Western Red Cedar, accented with other premium woods such as cherry, walnut, pine and others. The laminated construction allows us to create a paddle that is lightweight, functional and beautiful — with every paddle having its own individual character.

Built by a Paddler

These aren't simply paddles made in a woodworking shop. They're built by someone who has spent a lifetime using paddles.

Joe O' has handcrafted and sold more than 2,000 paddles, with years of experience in both paddle making and long-distance paddling.

That experience includes extensive sea kayaking and expedition paddling, a solo canoe journey across Canada, and setting the Vancouver Island sea kayak circumnavigation speed record — twice.

That background influences the paddles we build today: comfortable in the hands, efficient through the water, and made to be paddled.

Made for You

Our two-piece Greenland paddles are available in both shouldered and non-shouldered designs. Approximately 85% of our customers choose the clean, traditional feel of the non-shouldered version.

Because paddlers — and paddling styles — differ, each paddle can be sized for its owner. Overall length and other sizing details can be determined by email when ordering.
