Our one-piece Greenland paddles offer the cleanest and simplest version of the Greenland paddle — no joint, no moving parts, just a lightweight handcrafted paddle built for the water.

Each paddle is individually handcrafted and laminated primarily from carefully selected Western Red Cedar, accented with other premium woods such as cherry, walnut, pine and others. Every combination is a little different, giving each finished paddle its own character.

The one-piece construction keeps things beautifully simple while allowing us to build a paddle that is lightweight, comfortable in the hands and efficient through the water.

Built by a Paddler

These aren't simply paddles made in a woodworking shop. They're built by someone who has spent a lifetime using paddles.

Joe O'Blenis has handcrafted and sold more than 2,000 paddles, backed by years of sea kayaking, canoeing and expedition paddling experience.

That experience includes a solo canoe journey across Canada and setting the Vancouver Island sea kayak circumnavigation speed record — twice.

And yes — Greenland paddles were used for both record-setting circumnavigations.

The experience gained over thousands of kilometres on the water influences the paddles we build today: comfortable, efficient and made to be paddled.
